Foreign legal entities must provide the following information:
- Whether or not they have legal personality
- Name or business name
- Identification number assigned in another country (if applicable)
- Legal or tax address
- Nationality
- Date of incorporation and date of registration (if applicable)
- Share capital (if applicable)
- Representatives: full name or company name, NIF, address, and nationality
To obtain the NIF, it is also necessary to present the originals and copies of the following documents:
- A certificate from the tax or registration authority of the country of origin confirming the existence of the organization
Regarding the individual signing the application on behalf of the organization:
- A document proving the existence of a NIF issued by the Spanish authorities
- A document proving the authority to sign the application: either a Spanish notarized power of attorney or an apostilled foreign power of attorney. If the signatory is listed as the legal representative in the registration certificate, that document may be sufficient
